Just when I think Flodesk can’t add another integration I’ll end up needing…..they surprise me in the BEST way. I always say the best is yet to come and Flodesk must be on that same wavelength because it gets better and better and better!
What is Flodesk:
For those who haven’t heard me chat about Flodesk (where have you been??—just kidding) But in all seriousness, Flodesk has been the tool that I started with as a business owner and have kept the entire journey. And I am happily back to share it again because it just keeps getting better and better.

What I’m loving in this season of using it?
Recently I became the owner of Camp Climb, a community and annual event that is held in the Midwest and fun fact–Natalie Franke of Flodesk was a speaker at a past Camp! Through this I decided that Thrivecart would be a valuable platform to have for my campers to register with ease. I wanted easy to use landing pages and a checkout that was seamless but my fear? How would this integrate with the tools that I was using??
It was like Flodesk heard me because right around this same time they came out with an integration with Thrivecart that works like an absolute dream.
When a client purchases their ticket for Camp they are automatically added from Thrivecart to a segment that I have set up in Flodesk.
There is no middle man. No additional connection to be made. My clients through Thrivecart are connected and added directly to my email list for Camp Climb and the time that saves me is priceless.
How did I set this up?
After setting up a product in Thrivecart I went to the end where it says automation. Hit Add Rule and then a pop up will appear that prompts you to select the trigger (in this case it was “the main product was purchased” and then select use Flodesk. From here it will add to the pop up prompting you to select the specific segment that you have set up within your Flodesk account and at the point Flodesk takes over.
On the Flodesk side I have set up a workflow that someone goes through when they are added to the segment. So by Thrivecart adding them to the segment Flodesk is then set up to send them the communication they need and confirmation automatically without me having to lift a finger after the initial setup. Long gone are the days of manual or having to be “on” for your business 24/7.
I had to set it up once (and it took me 5 minutes time) and now my clients are connected to the communication they will need to receive by being added into the appropriate spot.
This integration came at the perfect time and has made my life so much easier. I am grateful to have this in place as I continue to build other elements of the community and event.
